The boiler steam and water circuit consists of three heating stages: feed water preheating, evaporation, and superheating. The boiler economizer is responsible for preheating feed water, making it the heating surface with the lowest temperature in the circuit. The working fluid passing through this equipment is monophasic water (non-boiling economizer).
- Fuel saving: Positioned at the boiler's rear, economizers reduce flue gas temperatures, resulting in significant fuel savings.
- Improved steam drum conditions: Increases feed water temperature entering the steam drum, reducing thermal stress and extending service life.
